Air Popped Popcorn in a brown paper bag
If you don’t know this already, the microwave popcorn, well, it’s full of chemicals that you don’t want in your body. I really felt like popcorn though. With a little research and a little trial and error I got the perfect way to make popcorn. You take one of those brown paper lunch bags, put your popcorn in it, fold the top over a few times, and microwave it (times of microwaves will vary, so I just set mine for 5 minutes and listen). It runs about the same amount of time as those regular microwave popcorn and you follow the rule about listening for when it stops popping to take it out.
I’ve seen this done with adding oil, etc, to the bag before popping, but it’s not necessary. You get fluffy white popcorn and each cup of popcorn is around 20 calories. Now tell me when you have the munchies but don’t want to destroy your diet that this isn’t a good go to food.
